2007 was Sinergia's 30th Anniversary of service to children and adults with disabilities and their families. Sinergia's 30th Anniversary Gala was held at the New York Botanical Garden on June 16, 2008. The celebration was held in the beautiful ballroom and the noted cuisine and service of Abigail Kirsch made this a unique dining experience. Guests danced and enjoyed the music by the Multicultural Orchestra. The raffle and silent auction added to the enjoyment of the night.   The following honorees were chosen for their extraordinary work and commitment to children and families: 

Dolores Fernandez, Ph.D., President of Hostos Community College

Paula Goldberg, Executive Director of PACER, MN

Diana Jones Ritter, Commissioner of NYS Office of Mental Retardation & Developmental Disabilities

Ray Santos, Oscar Nominated & Grammy Award Winning Composer

Melissa Mark-Viverito, NYC Council Member, District 8
