The Parent Support Group provides a safe and confidential place for parents who have children with disabilities to share their stories, success and hardships with peers. You will have opportunities to form new supportive relationships with other parents. We welcome you.

What Parents Need To Know
Under IDEA 2004 states are required to develop a six-year, 2005-2010, State Performance Plan.
New York has set targets and performance measures on three special education monitoring priorities:
*Free appropriate public education in the least restrictive environment (Indicators 1-8)
*Disproportionality (Indicators 9-10)
*Effective general supervision (Indicators 11-20)
