NYC parents and caregivers will learn about free assistive technology (AT), the different technologies and tools available, and how it can support and empower learning for students across numerous disabilities. Learn how to request AT evaluations, how the evaluations are done, how caregivers can receive training to help support their children to optimize its use, and tips on how to secure it within your IEP.
Padres y cuidadores de la ciudad de Nueva York aprenderán sobre la tecnología asistencial (AT) gratuita, las diferentes tecnologías y herramientas disponibles, y cómo puede apoyar y potenciar el aprendizaje de los estudiantes con numerosas discapacidades. Aprenda cómo solicitar evaluaciones de AT, cómo se realizan las evaluaciones, cómo los cuidadores pueden recibir capacitación para ayudar y apoyar a sus hijos a optimizar su uso y consejos sobre cómo asegurarlo dentro de su IEP.
