Do you want more clarity on COVID-19 vaccine safety and efficacy, and New York City school COVID-19 protocols, as related to children with disabilities?
 
With seemingly frequently shifting policies, mandates, and constant rumors and myths about Covid-19 and vaccines, we want to provide more clarity on both—vaccine safety and efficacy, who is impacted and how, and understand the risk as well as protocols in place to protect our children, especially our most vulnerable students, students with disabilities. We will also dispel myths, rumors, and disinformation and answer any additional questions you may have on these matters in a judgement-free / safe space.
 
Dr. Michelle Ramirez, a leading bilingual (English-Spanish) pediatric critical care specialist at NYU Langone, and Jose Rios Lua, director at the NYC Department of Education’s Family Empowerment & Communications, will provide critically clear guidance in helping you understand everything you need to know, including concerns around the new Omicron variant.  
 
This presentation will be in Spanish with simultaneous English and Mandarin interpretation and American Sign Language (ASL). Additional accommodations can be made during registration or by contacting JC Cortez, jcortez@sinergiany.org.
