Learn how to address special education concerns with the support of a free special education mediator.  Mediations can address many special education issues including a student’s program, placement, appropriate services, service delivery, behaviors, evaluations, and communication.  Agreements are legally binding, and the IEP must be updated. During the current health crisis, mediation is conducted by phone or videoconferencing.  This presentation will be conducted by Carol Lieb Himes, Senior Manager of Family Programs, New York Peace Institute.
