The APPLE Academy is a set of advocacy activities and trainings over 6 classes designed to increase the capacity of family, caregivers, and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) to become advocacy leaders and engage in civic activities. Participants will develop skills so that parents can advocate on their own behalf with the ultimate goal of being able to advocate on behalf of other parents.
