Candid Conversations: What are Self-Advocacy Skills for a Successful Transition?
Many families and young people with disabilities in New York are concerned about how to find the path to a successful future after high school. Join professionals as they discuss self-advocacy skills and steps that can lead to a transition that recognizes the full potential of a student with any disability.
This panel follows a 3-part video series, “Handing Over the Reins,” a joint effort of the NY Region 1 Parent Training and Information Center Collaborative, that will be emailed to all registrants.
Any accommodations or language interpretation (including ASL) must be requested by April 21, 2023.
