Self-advocacy for people with developmental disabilities

Speakers from the Self-Advocacy Association of New York State, an organization founded by people with developmental disabilities to advocate for themselves will speak about what "self-advocacy" is and how it can work for people with developmental disabilities, their families and supporters. They will also discuss how OPWDD is addressing advocacy issues and outreach by self-advocates to diverse communities and Spanish-speakers with developmental disabilities and their families.
